About MeI'm a lifelong resident of Stokes County and a graduate of South Stokes High School. I live with my husband on the farm my grandfather purchased in the 1940s. We have two adult children. I love to sew, travel, and find crazy little places with amazing food. Working in business for 15 years before becoming a teacher gave me great experiences that I have been able to share with my students over the past 15 years. Primarily teaching Personal Finance, I have a great passion for my subject and want my students to learn how to make the most of their finances as early as possible and avoid common pitfalls. As the yearbook adviser, I have the privilege of working with a dedicated group of students who work really hard to make a lasting keepsake for their classmates. It also gives me a chance to put my business experience to use by running a mini business.
